Overview

OmniVision's high performance OV7699 CameraChip™ sensor is a cost-optimized and power-efficient imaging solution for a wide range of applications. The OV7699 offers best-in-class VGA performance in the industry's smallest footprint, making it an ideal camera solution for consumer applications, including feature phones, mainstream smartphones, notebooks, wearables and IoT devices, among others.

The 1/13-inch OV7699 utilizes the latest 1.75-micron OmniBSI+™ pixel architecture to deliver industry-leading signal-to-noise ratio, sensitivity, full-well capacity, and distortion correction. The sensor can capture high-quality VGA (640 x 480 pixels) resolution images and video at 30 frames-per-second (fps), or QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution at 60 fps.

The OV7699 supports single lane MIPI interface with a data transfer rate of up to 192 Mbps. The sensor comes in an ultra compact 2.03 mm x 2.08 mm chip scale package (CSP).
