The OV480 is an ASIC intended to support automotive camera applications such as rear-view cameras. The OV480 can be coupled with an OMNIVISION sensor up to 1280 x 800 pixels (active sensor array), providing digital image data in YUV 4:2:2 format. The image data-path performs image processing functions to correct images captured through a ‘fish-eye’ lens of up to 180 degrees field of view. Two output paths can support an analog NTSC CVBS video display and/or a digital video interface.
