Overview

The OV491 is a companion image processor for OmniVision HDR sensor (e.g., OV2775 and OV10640) to provide a complete system solution with fully processed YUV output. It supports up to three captures combination, global and local tone mapping. It is capable of processing two video streams simultaneously for cost effective surrounding view system (SVS). The OV491 integrates a high performance ISP with improved HDR function and MIPI function to deliver a high throughput data-rate for high quality images. The embedded 32-bit RISC processor provides the flexibility to support various automotive applications. The processed video can be output from single- or dual-DVP (for dual incoming video streams), MIPI, or NTSC interface. A pair of OV491 processors will be able to work together to support four video streams to form surround view system (SVS).
