Overview:

Key application engineer for automotive and security market. The candidate should have a good understanding of the sensor architecture and image processing, which is essential to evaluate and improve the image quality. Basic knowledge about CMOS and pixel design are also required. The candidate should have hardware knowledge and experience to help the customer solve various system level application issues. The candidate should be familiar with automotive and security industrial and know how to support them efficiently. The candidate is also required to communicate and work with different departments internally.

Responsibilities:

Primary (70%)
- Sensor verification: Work closely with design team to verify each function of the sensor. Evaluate image quality to see if it meets the design target and application requirement. Find feasible system level work-around if some issues can't be addressed by design.
- Sensor reference design: Design testing board and standard demo board. Review the customer's design. Make special reference design based on customer's requirement. Check EMI/EMC performance.
- Create and maintain datasheet, application notes. Deliver useful, accurate information to the customer on how to use the sensor.
- Direct customer support and help FAEs support their customers. Help customers bring up and troubleshoot their system. Tune image quality based on the customer's requirement to win competition.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive camera applications
  • Knowledgeable about image and image sensor
  • System level hardware design and debug, firmware and software experience are a plus
  • BSEE, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • MSEE is a plus
