Overview:

The Sr. Field Applications Engineer is primarily responsible for providing technical expertise through sales presentations, product demos and installation and maintenance of company products, assisting sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs, preparing detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer applications and solutions and providing Pre-Sales and Post-Sales technical support to the company�s sales team and customers

Responsibilities:

Sensor Verification: Works closely HQ team to verify each function of the sensor, evaluating image quality to see if it meets the application requirement and finds feasible system-level work around if issues can�t be addressed by design
Relays customer requirements for HQ for improvement and future products
Delivers useful, accurate information to customer on how to use sensors
Directs customer support and helps FAEs with customers
Helps customer bring up and troubleshoot their systems
Tunes image quality based on customer�s requirements to win the competition.

Requirements:

Minimum of eight years plus of related experience

Knowledge of semiconductor and image sensor

System-level hardware design and debug, firmware and software experience is a plus

BSEE, related degree or equivalent work experience
